An auxiliary of World Convention, the “purpose of Global Women Connecting shall be to provide a channel by which all women members of the Stone-Campbell heritage churches and the United churches who share that heritage, may be joined in fellowship and through which, by prayer, study, and service they may share the gospel to the ends of the earth.”
List of volunteer opportunities within this ministry –
Description of service: Assist planning and implementation of gathering opportunities (meetings, retreats, dinners, etc.)
Frequency required: A new initiative. Hope to establish an annual event for a multi-church function.
Skills/training required: Experience in event planning and execution helpful – desire to have fun building relationships essential
Term of service time: Periodic meetings 4-6 months prior to event, and attendance at event.
Special restrictions/requirements: Women in key positions may need additional planning time and/or support

Ladie’s Inspiration Breakfast

This breakfast is an edifying and encouraging morning of fellowship, singing, keynote speakers, and sharing in small groups. Volunteers are needed: keynote speaker, to lead singing, and to decorate. Held twice a year in the lobby of the Great Hall on a Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:30 am.
